About

Minecraft Servers is a server list for the popular game “Minecraft”, providing detailed information, ratings, and uptime statistics, as well as automatically updating images showing the status. You may add your server to be found/tracked or find servers and rate them up or down to give your opinion!

By default, servers are ranked by rating, which can go up or down based on positive or negative comments to a server. When a user comments, it is submitted for approval and barring any spam or obscenities, it will be approved then applied to the server. You may vote on each server every 24 hours. In other words, if you vote on one server, you will not be able to vote again on that specific server for another 24 hours. Votes are reset monthly, so make sure you get your users voting to keep you on top!

Head on over to the list!

Why does minecraft servers facilitate the advertisement and promotion of cracked servers? These are not only illegal, but foster a gaming community that does not support the game. I am sure this was a simple oversight, and will be looked into promptly, given that the servers even advertise themselves so clearly as being illegal (cracked).

We have banned many of them as we find them, and recently gotten rid of about 300 of them.

Yes! Email us at support AT minecraftservers.net to let us know.

          • what about servers that use something like Xauth, when Mojang’s servers are down, for those who have already logged on using Mojang’s authentication protocol. (ie, they can only become a member while the real authentication at Mojang is up, and make themselves an Xauth password.)

IMO the servers are not cracked. The server software is free and open you can download it from Minecrafts website. and also it was writen with the option to turn off acount verifcation buy the person that made the game.IMO he made the game for everyone to play even the people that cant aford to pay and those that will not. I have been following Minecraft for over a year and not one time have I heard Notch mention any grief over cracked cliants

Cracked Servers are not illegal. All that means is that the server doesn’t check for premium users. If it was illegal, then the server.properties file wouldn’t have the option to set as offline mode. If it is illegal, then if mojangs servers are down, then all servers are down, and mojang made it that way. IT IS NOT! ILLEGAL!

I have noticed that a lot of your top servers listed are activly bribing and sometimes bullying people for votes on this site. As a result, these top servers may not actualy be any good, and are giving false positive results.
I was wondering what your stance on this is, as it would be an easy thing to log in and see which servers are the biggest offenders.

It is very unfortunate that servers have to resort to this to get a leg up on the competition. Offering incentives for voting is fine, and understandable, as it would be hard to get people to vote otherwise, but requiring it or bullying for votes is not OK. Some others have turned to buying votes from sites that sell them. Both of these I find totally unacceptable and am trying to figure out a solution to without destroying convenience/ease of use.

The old version of our site had server comments, something we are working to bring back in the form of reviews in the near future.

    The_Architect :

That is fine. We do not have a problem with offline-mode servers, we have a problem with those that advertise as “cracked” and encourage or facilitate use of pirated copies of the game. If you want to allow them in, that’s fine, just don’t make it a selling point.
